“Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop,” said the King in Alice in Wonderland.
I decided to do exactly the opposite by beginning my first blog with the end of the year post. I hope this works out well.
This also happens to be my first award eligibility post! I had three pieces published in 2023 that seem to fit the criteria (at least as far as I understand them!). I’d be grateful and honored if you checked out these stories.
These Burning Bones in Once Upon a Summer: A Folk and Fairy Tale Anthology, published by Macfarlane Lantern Publishing (3990 words)
The Many Names of Eels in Three-Lobed Burning Eye (4327 words)
Holy Mother of the Drowned in Stygian Lepus (2141 words)
